IWOC at Bristol Tattoo Circus
This year, on the weekend of 3rd and 4th November, Bristol will host its first ever Tattoo Circus. It will be a weekend full of tattoos from local and international artists and will be a chance to bring together folk from tattoo, DIY and anarchist circles. There will also be workshops on prison abolition and DIY printing, stalls, tasty snacks and music through out the weekend.
IWOC will be doing a workshop so please come down and learn about prison labour in the UK. There will also be a skype from an organiser in the US talking about the prison strike.
The principle of a Tattoo Circus is that it is a non-hierarchical, non-competitive and non-commercial event where nobody makes a profit. The Tattoo Circus began 2007 in Rome and since then, activists from all around Europe, including Barcelona, London, Thessaloniki, Bern, Helsinki, Athens and Madrid took on the concept for supporting those people who can’t be among us.
Everyone involved will be donating their time for free and all money raised will go to Bristol Anarchist Black Cross, a group focused on supporting prisoners and furthering campaigns for prison abolition.
